Dear website visitor,
It is a pleasure for us to invite you to the spring meeting of the Association of Veterinary Anaesthetists (AVA) 2012 held in Davos, Switzerland at the Schatzalp Hotel.
The main congress will be held on the 22nd and 23rd of March 2012. The main topics will be ‘News on blood transfusions’ and ‘Opioid controversies’. Recognised and well known speakers from all over Europe are invited to speak on these ‘hot’ topics.
The resident day will be held on the 21st of March 2012. The topic will be ‘Small animal and equine cardiology’ with a focus on ECG evaluation.
A practitioners day will follow on the 24th of March 2012. The topic of the practitioners day will be ‘Chronic pain – Physiology and Management’.
The congress venue is located in the Swiss alps in the middle of a skiing and winter walking area. Davos itself is one of the biggest skiing resorts in the alps. A fantastic social program is planned including sledging, the traditional congress dinner and a fondue dinner.
We also organize the first AVA Tombola awarding the AVA Tombola price, the Resident Price and the Practitioner price – submit your registration or your abstract as early as possible and be one of the three winners!
We are looking forward to see you all in Davos in March 2012!
